What is scrapbook?
Scrapbooking is an art to preserve the memories by decorating the photos. It can contain memorabilia related to the event, journaling spots for jotting down your thoughts, and of course, not forgetting the beautiful papers and the many detailed embellishments. And since it's meant to preserve the memories for a long long time, all scrapbooking products are acid-free.
What is acid free and why does it matter?
Acid causes papers and photos to discolor and disintegrate. This aging process is slowed significantly when acid is removed from paper during the manufacturing process. As such, for all the scrapbook layouts, Aimee Creation are only using acid-free products from renowned scrapbook manufacturers.
Why the price is high?
Acid-free products are generally attracting high prices due to the quality of the products. On top of that, each one of our product is handcrafted and designed with love. 1 scrapbook layout will generally take 3 hours to complete, while for cards, it depends on the design. Some can be quite fast, some can be quite time consuming. Factoring the high quality of materials used and the time spent on each product, I believe you'll agree that the prices stated are actually not high :)
How to paste photos on the completed scrapbook?
If you purchase our ready-made scrapbook layouts, please do not use a normal glue to paste your photos. To preserve the photos from discoloring, please use only acid-free labeled glue. For your convenience, we will provide 4 acid free double-sided tape for each photo in the layout free of charge. So if there are 2 photos in the layout, we will provide you with 8 double-sided tape, etc.
If you custom-made your scrapbook layouts with us, chances are we will paste your photos in the layout before sending it to you.
How to store the completed scrapbook layouts?
There are 2 options that you can consider for storing the layouts:
- Frame it up! What better way to remember those special moments other than to frame and display it? This option will be great as a gift too. There are many types of scrapbook frames available at local scrapbook stores & online shops: clear frames, wooden frame, as well as shadowboxes. Prices range from S$20 - S$50. Don't hesitate to ask us if you need more info on this.
- Keep in an album. There are a wide variety available at local scrapbook stores & online shops in Singapore. If required, we can recommend the addresses of the stores/online shops. Prices range from S$30+ to S$70+, depending on your budget and preference.
How to custom-made the scrapbook layout according to my requirements?

Can I custom-made scrapbook based on one in Sold/Gallery section?
Each of our layout is a one-of-a-kind design. Due to materials limitation, we might not be able to imitate exactly the layout you saw at the Sold/Gallery section. However you can let us know which part of the design you like, and we'll try to accomodate that into your custom-made layout.
